There are a multitude of Federal, State and even some local websites that provide information for Veterans. These sites are often big, bureaucratic and filled with so much information that "overload" becomes the feeling when perusing them. They also reek of government processes.
Our research and discovery leads us to believe there is a need for a website portal that aggregates information important to our veterans. Whether you are just coming home from a major deployment and unsure of what to do, suffering from PTSD, looking for veteran contacts in your area, concerned about federal or state legislation effecting veterans, want to connect with other veteran families, communicate with other veterans, need educational or medical benefits information, looking for a job, or other important items to veterans, there is a clear gap that exists for this kind of website. Additionally, what you don't find is inspirational stories about our veterans, successful veterans, veterans in action doing great things, and these sorts of positive and uplifting achievements to inspire others in an encouraging way.
We want to close this gap with TrueAmericans.com.
